SAMSUNG GALAXY S8

The big feature this time round is the Infinity Display and bezel-less design that form a smooth, continuous surface with no buttons or harsh angles. The Galaxy S8’s compact design enables one-handed operation and Corning GorillaGlass 5 on both the front and back durability.
Another new feature is Bixby, Samsung’s answer to Siri and Ok Google. At launch, Bixby’s Voice function will integrate with several Samsung native apps and features including Camera, Contacts, Gallery, Messages and Settings, with the plan to expand its capabilities to include more Samsung and third-party apps in the near future.

In terms of camera the Galaxy S8 and S8+ are equipped with an 8MP F1.7 Smart Autofocus front camera and 12MP F1.7 Dual Pixel rear camera. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ feature the industry’s first 10nm processor. It is also gigabit LTE and gigabit Wi-Fi ready with support for up to 1 GBPS....

OPPO R9S

Our reviewer Michael Toon had a bit of a love hate relationship with the phone, due to bloatware on the phone but all and all it’s a solid phone at a low price point.
For only $699 you get an all metal body, super thin side bezels, 5.5 inch 1920 x 1080 screen, great battery, 64 GB of on-board storage, micro SD expansion slot, fingerprint scanner, dual sim slot, ultra-fast charging, 16 megapixel camera on the back and a crazy 16 megapixels on the front. What’s not to love. Those are great stats! Usually when a phone is priced this cheap they cut corners like memory with slow read and write speeds, a dim screen, slow finger print reader etc but nope it’s all top shelf.

There is only three things hardware wise you may have an issue with. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor is very much a midrange cpu but in my two weeks of using the phone I thought it was great and on par feel wise with high end phones. The front and back cameras while good aren’t up to the level of a Samsung S8 or iPhone 7 especially low light and videos..
