Lenovo updates its smart devices portfolio in India

Lenovo on Wednesday introduced smarter technology for a more connected home experience with an expanded range of smart devices powered by Google Assistant.

These devices include the all-new 7-inch Lenovo Smart Display, Lenovo Smart Bulb, Lenovo Smart Camera, Lenovo Smart Plug, Lenovo Smart Clock. Earlier this year, Lenovo introduced the 10-inch Smart Display.

The latest Smart Display will be available on Lenovo.com, Flipkart and across Lenovo Exclusive stores and Croma stores at Rs 8,999, the company said.
“As the leader in the Indian PC and tablet market, Lenovo is uniquely positioned to lead the growth of the smart device market by introducing new age devices and IoT products,” Rahul Agarwal, CEO & MD, Lenovo India, said in a statement.

“Our strategic partnership with Google, allows us to develop user friendly technologies which can work seamlessly with your voice,” he added.

With the new “always-on” display, users can control over 5,000 smart home devices from major brands, answer video calls from family, monitor the kids’ room, or check who’s at the door through any smart camera connected with the device - all without lifting a finger, Lenovo said.

  1. Lenovo Smart Clock


Lenovo Smart Clock with the Google Assistant does more than just tell you the time and wake you up. Designed to reduce smartphone screen-time at night, it can help you unwind and sleep better. It can also run your smart home, play your favorite music across your home, manage your schedule, and much more.



    2. Lenovo Smart Bulb

The Lenovo Smart Bulb is a plug and play device that can be operated using either voice commands, just like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, or through the Lenovo Link app. Users can use voice commands to control things like the color, temperature, brightness of the bulb.





     3. Lenovo Smart Display 

Priced at Rs. 8,999, the Smart Display 7 sits between the Rs. 5,999 Lenovo Smart Clock and Rs. 14,999 Lenovo Smart Display. The device has a 7-inch display and support for Google Assistant with full visual cues; users will be able to give voice commands to Google Assistant through the always-on microphone.


    4.  Lenovo Smart Plug 

 The Lenovo Smart Plug fixes a perennial problem with typical oversized smart plugs. The Smart Plug also protects electronics and appliances from damage with an extra layer of surge protection, so you can rest easier.





 5. Lenovo Smart Camera

The lenovo Smart Camera  offers a 355-degree field of view from side to side and a 120-degree FoV from top to bottom. It also offers infrared night vision of up to 20 meters. The camera features a built in mic and speaker, so users can use it as in intercom if they so wish.
